Social Care Support Worker - MALE APPLICANTS ONLY

Hours: Various Hours Available

Location: Supported Living Services, Hull

Salary: £7.83 per hour

Closing Date: Ongoing

Autism Plus are recruiting for Support Workers to work with our service users, who have a wide range of needs, in a Supported Living environment in Hull. There are various hours available including full time, part time and casual contracts.

This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for a rewarding career and a chance to have a positive impact on the lives of individuals with Autism, mental health conditions and other associated disabilities. The individuals we work with display challenging behaviour and therefore it would be beneficial if you have previous experience however all our employees go through induction training to receive the training required for the role.

Key Requirements:

  • Have clear verbal communication skills
  • Able to communicate well with and understand people who have limited speech and language issue’s
  • Preferably have experience in dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Have experience or are willing to support with personal care
