We have six social enterprise businesses, all supporting people with autism and learning disabilities to gain work skills and experiences in real working businesses with real supported, progression pathways.
Ampleforth Plus - North Yorkshire - horticulture and chocolate production projects. We are fundraising for our ambitious phase 2 plans. Projects under consideration include further development in horticulture, the production and sale of veggie, salad and Chocolate boxes to our own care homes, the local community and beyond, the production of bark production for sale and a classic car hire business - which is currently being tested marketed externally.
Mayfield - Sheffield. A musical instrument manufacturer, producing the bell lyre and other marching band instruments.
Beanstalk Gardens - Sheffield and Ampleforth. Work experience and opportunities in horticulture for adults and young people with disabilities and/or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Top Notch - Doncaster. Training and work placements in a wood workshop business.
Easi Works - Easingwold. A developing social enterprise based in a small industrial unit on the outskirts of the small market town. Offering placements horticulture, administration, IT, retail, art and craft, and community and partnership projects.
Ings Plus - Hull. A community centre offering a food services including a cafe and meals on wheels service, training, sensory room and rooms for hire for the local community.
