Registered Manager

Location: Hull

Hours: Full Time

Salary: £27,000/year, rising to £28,665 upon successful registration

Closing Date: Monday 18th February

Autism Plus is seeking to recruit a full time Registered Manager for our Hull Services. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Head of Service and work alongside our existing teams for adults requiring specific complex services.

Applicants must have NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, a clean driving licence and a vehicle for this role.

The key purpose of the role is to manage and take responsibility for the daily running of the services, and to ensure that the care provided offers individuals a high standard of specialised, person centred care and to work within a legislative framework and ensure that all practices are in line with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• To be responsible for and take accountability for the maintenance of registration standards as laid down in CQC guidance and as regulated by the Commission for Quality Care

• To ensure that the provision of care exceeds the National Standard outlined by CQC support provide in a person centered way, using person-centered approaches

• Responsible for liaising with Line Managers and Heads of Service regarding the provision of the service for new referrals

• To be responsible for the recruitment and induction of staff for the services, ensuring that they meet the required behaviors and competence for the role, and is in line with organisational policies including service user involvement
