Our Residential Living support is in homely and welcoming surroundings with flexible support packages tailored to your needs. You may want to use Autism Plus’ accommodation as a stepping stone into Supported Living.
From when we first meet someone and they transition into our service, support is led by them. We help the individual to plan a transition pathway which is more than filling in a form, it’s about us getting to know that person and what they want from us.
As well as our enterprises our other supportive interventions include health and fitness, accessing community facilities, music, woodwork, holidays, sports and leisure activities and adult learning.
Our priority is always to engage the individual in their own care as fully as possible to ensure we help them to get the right care system in place.
"I would give them 100 per cent. They are amazing they have changed my (family member's) life. My (family member) has achieved so much, because they (the staff) have put in so much. It was a year since (family member) moved in and they had a really big cake for (family member), to celebrate."
"I never thought we would ever see (family member) choose shopping and put it in a trolley in the supermarket, or go to a carvery and get things put on their plate, but this is happening."

In Thorne we offer a respite service. The service can provide a break from your home for you and also provide a break for your family or carers. During a respite break you may want to plan trips out, visit friends or spend time relaxing. The respite service is based around your needs, you have control.
