Children and Young People
Pea Pods kids club
We operate a kids club called Pea Pods based at Beanstalk Gardens, our horticulture site is based in Sheffield. Pea Pods offers a short break service for children with disabilities. The Pea Pods group involves activities such as growing vegetables, researching wildlife and the environment, drama, arts and craft. The groups learn about healthy eating, where food comes from and healthy life style choices. The Pea Pods group provides fun, educational days where children can meet new friends and spend time outdoors.
Topics covered in the group sessions can be built upon to progress in horticulture employment at a later stage. If you would like to use this service please contact SNIPS Sheffield (Special Need Inclusion Play Scheme)
